Ignition Key Code Information

A broken or lost MG Rover ignition key will obviouly result in the vehicle not starting. You will require the unique key code for a locksmith to cut the key, with this code you can visit any local key cutting company or call out a mobile locksmith if you are not at home.

How to get your key code

To supply you with the KEY code we require the VIN number, this begins with SARR or SAXX and should be seventeen characters in length. It can be found near the windscreen or printed on your V5 (Vehicle Registration Document)
